| Stacey was born in a small town in Michigan and soon moved to Arizona as a young infant. Growing up in Arizona with two sisters and a brother, Stacey began playing music on an old guitar given to him by a neighbor at the age of nine. Playing that old guitar came naturally and was the beginning of Stacey's own identity as a musician. Raised by his mother, money was tight and there were few extras. However, there was always an abundance of love and music. In 1978, Stacey's family moved to Carlsbad, California where he continued to actively pursue his love for music and developed into an accomplished musician.
During his high school years, Stacey joined his first band, "Rock-n-Na"a five piece band that concentrated on Rock-a-Billy music. As time went on, Stacey's passion for playing, writing and composing music became more developed and refined.
Recently Stacey broke off and began to write and compose his own original work. "Soul Elements", his first professionally released album, is the product stemming from years of studio work which embraces the depths of passion and the perseverance of the human spirit.
You will only need to hear a few tracks to fully understand and appreciate it's totality.
