About the Song :: "Places"
"PLACES" was written about a time in my life when I was very young. I was a difficult child and student (I guess). Instead of teachers identifying the problem, I was simply given a box of toys, sent to the back of the classroom away from other students and told not to bother anyone. This is when I learned to dream and occupy my mind with imaginary friends.
The rest of the song represents how those times from our past, no matter how brief, can stay with us years into the future. |
